Introducing the Hyperion Elite ballast, the closest you will get to OEM grade quality from an aftermarket HID ballast. The Elite ballast features in-line Can-Bus decoder integrated into the input connector harness. Can-Bus is a multiplex electrical system used by many late model European, American, and Asian vehicles. Onboard Can-Bus systems will detect changes to your head lights due to modifications, such as installing a HID kit, and throw error codes on the dash or pulsate the head lights causing HID flicker. The decoder on the Elite ballast will integrate with onboard Can-Bus and prevent any of these problems from occuring. Hyperion Elite ballasts are the result of rigorous reliability tests. First year defect rates are reduced to 0.5%, and less than 1% within 3 years. Fully potted internals, shockproof, waterproof, and high operating efficiency design are standard features. Power is regulated by a patented application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) controller chip, the only one of its kind. This technology guarantees optimal light output and even light distribution from both head lights. Unlike generic ballasts, all Hyperion Elite ballasts are marked with a serial number and manufacturer date from the factory.
